Welcome,

Ten years ago, I created Percherons of Color as a platform to bring together both visual and educational information for the public. POC is outdated in many ways and is currently going to be overhauled.

What originally started in 2003 as a curiosity to find as many Percherons that were not black and grey as I could, became a passion to document, record, and educate. It later became a mission of preservation. As of this year, I have owned and raised Registered Percheron draft horses for 20 years. I maintain a smaller herd, but own both mares and stallions. My herd consists of Bay, Bay Roan, Blue Roan, Black, and Grey. I continue to document and record horses that are of color. I also continue to educate, particularly through social media. The more people with the correct information, the better you can educate correctly when I am unable to be present. We have many people who are unaware of what is factual. It’s time the Percheron breed, and the rest of the world catches up to 2025. This is not the stone age. The Percheron has never been only Black & Grey.

Please be patient with me as the site is updated.
